This year, 55 scholarships will be offered. YES Abroad covers all aspects of the program, including selection and orientation events, airfare, healthcare, placement with a host family, in-country trips, and even a monthly stipend! Through YES Abroad, you get to experience a new culture. You get to learn a new language. You get to make new friends and have a new family. You'll experience things you never could have dreamed of doing in the United States. You'll open many doorways for your future. You'll become more open-minded about the world, and you'll gain a sense of patience. You will make friends in your host community but also will form bonds with the other exchange students--friends who have the same interests and same global perspective as you do.
